Transformation of electrostatic precipitator
The electrostatic precipitator mainly consists of an upper box body, a middle box body, an ash hopper, an inlet air flow equalization pipe, a bracket, a filter bag and a spraying device, an ash unloading device, etc. Dust containing air enters the ash hoppers of each compartment through the inlet air flow equalization pipe of the dust collector, and under the guidance of the ash hopper guide device, large particles of dust are separated and directly fall into the dust, while finer dust evenly enters the middle box body and adsorbs on the outer surface of the filter bag. Clean air enters the upper box body and is discharged into the atmosphere through various offline valves and exhaust pipes. As the filtering condition progresses, the dust on the filter bag accumulates more and more. When the equipment resistance reaches the limited resistance value (usually set at 1500Pa), the dust is cleared by the dust removal method. After the device automatically closes the offline valve of the first chamber according to the differential pressure setting value, the electromagnetic pulse valve is opened according to the set program to stop the air flow and spray. The compressed air is used to instantly spray the pressure increase inside the filter bag, Shake off the dust on the filter bag (even fine dust can be removed) and transfer it to the ash hopper for discharge by the ash discharge mechanism.
So far, there have been cases of electrostatic precipitator renovation in power plants, cement plants, and sintering plants. With the aging of the use of electrostatic precipitators and the increasing demand for dust removal efficiency, the demand for transforming electrostatic precipitators into bag filters is also increasing and widespread. From a long-term perspective, achieving success with a slightly higher one-time investment is much more economical than repeatedly investing and transforming, and it is also beneficial for continuous and stable production. Reducing costs and downtime is a successful way to improve production efficiency and dust collection efficiency by retrofitting electrostatic precipitators.
1. Problems with electrostatic precipitator systems: The design of electrostatic precipitators has a high emission concentration, and after the modification of emission standards in power plants, cement, etc., most existing electrostatic precipitators need to be modified.
2. Transformation content: The original shell, ash hopper, pipeline, load-bearing foundation, and material conveying system of the electrostatic precipitator can be retained and reused, and only the filtering and cleaning methods of the high-performance pulse bag filter can be used for transformation.
Technical characteristics of electrostatic precipitator renovation:
1. Bag dust collector with low emissions and filter bag service life of 2-5 years
2. Compared with traditional bag filters, the modified bag filter has a larger filtration area, lower operating resistance, and stable operation.
3. There are not many restrictions on the changes in the properties of the inlet dust.
4. Can handle increased smoke volume
5. The number of mechanical moving parts included in the equipment is relatively small, and there is no need for frequent maintenance or replacement
6. The filter element can be installed either in the clean air chamber (by loading it into the dust collector from above) or in the dust containing chamber (by installing it below the dust collector). The on-site advantage is mainly reflected in its simple and feasible renovation project.
